There are several challenges for an Educator who wishes to implement the Civic Mirror experience into the classroom.
WiFi Limitations
Since Civic Mirror is an online digital simulation, to fully complete all the stages a stable and reliable WiFi network is required. Even though not all events require WiFi such as the "Winter: House of Commons" or "Fall: National Court" there are some such as the "Hex Auction" and "Practice Run Game" that are not capable without WiFi.

Student Digital Footprint
Civic Mirror creates a digital environment for the students to create their fictional 9 member family to live on the 48 hex map. Before implementing the program each educator would want to make sure that their students are aware of the digital component of the program and how it should comply with the FOIPPA (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act) concerns and requirements.

Classroom Dynamics Challenges
As the result of Civic Mirror being a Cloud Based Learning Platform that encourages students to create a fictional digital family within the 48 hex map there have been circumstances where previous social and even racial tacit tensions can be made public. Some educators may not be comfortable with dealing previous tacit racial or social tensions. It is a concern that needs to be constantly monitored as the educator is not an active citizen in the fictional country but just an administrator who advances one event to the next.
